My biggest inspiration

Since I was a child, one of my favorite subjects to paint have been horses. As a young girl, I was drawing them all the time, which helped me to become familiar with horse anatomy. Now I’m happy to live near two stables and I visit them very often for inspiration. I’ve also started taking horse riding lessons again after a very long break.

My latest painting was inspired by a beautiful gold palomino horse grazing in the paddock near one of those nearby stables. He was very lively and friendly, not only towards other horses, but also to my dog (who unfortunately was a bit scared and didn’t enjoy a company of another species that much).
